As is known, on May 14, an international meeting was held in the capital of our country with the participation of the leaders of the national fuel and energy complex, specialists from the oil and gas sector, heads of relevant management bodies of the United Arab Emirates in this field, as well as executives and representatives of the Malaysian company "PETRONAS."

The participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in this meeting gave it special significance.

Following the international meeting, agreements were signed between the State Concern "Türkmennebit" and the Malaysian company "PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd," as well as with the UAE company "ADNOC Türkmenistan RSC Limited." Similar agreements were also concluded between the State Concern "Türkmengaz" and the companies "PETRONAS Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd" from Malaysia and "ADNOC Türkmenistan RSC Limited" from the UAE.

Under the wise leadership of our Hero Arkadagly Serdar, the country's energy diplomacy has achieved significant success. The projects implemented in this area are cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and among the first to integrate innovative technologies. They have a positive impact on the accelerated growth of the global economy and promote the strengthening of the culture of trust and cooperation between states.

Hydrocarbon resources form the basis of the raw material base of our country's energy sector. In this regard, the Law of Turkmenistan "On Hydrocarbon Resources" is in force. This law defines the legal framework for relations arising during the exploration, extraction of hydrocarbon resources, and the conduct of other types of oil-related operations on the territory of Turkmenistan, including the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea, ensuring their rational use.

The Law of Turkmenistan "On Natural Gas and Gas Supply" establishes the legal, economic, and organizational foundations for relations in the gas sector and gas supply in our country, creating conditions for the efficient functioning of the gas market and the reliable and safe operation of gas supply facilities.

Such confident steps by our country toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals worldwide have become possible thanks to the dedicated efforts of our Hero-Arkadag and the esteemed President. We wish them strong health, long life, and continued success!
