In the era of the Renaissance of a new epoch of a powerful state, a thoughtful approach is being implemented in independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan to successfully address significant tasks of socio-economic development. The great achievements of this new historical era are the result of the wise and far-sighted policies initiated by our Hero-Arkadag and successfully continued under the leadership of the esteemed President. The strategy of large-scale transformations is primarily aimed at the modernization and industrialization of the national economy, the creation of modern enterprises specializing in the production of import-substituting and export-oriented products. Thanks to the successful implementation of the "National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2022–2052," the "Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country for 2022–2028," the National Rural Development Program, the "Program for the Socio-Economic Development and Investments of Turkmenistan for 2024," and other state programs, the economic potential of our state is strengthening, its international prestige is growing, and the standard of living of the population continues to improve.
Today, the capital of our country, Ashgabat, has become not only one of the cleanest and most beautiful cities in Turkmenistan but also one of the most attractive in the world. Unique buildings in the fields of healthcare, education, upbringing, culture, hospitality, and other sectors are being put into operation in the capital. Road infrastructure projects are consistently being implemented across all regions of the country. The second phase of construction of the unique city of Arkadag in the region is progressing at an accelerated pace, which demonstrates the stability of our country’s economic potential.
It is worth noting the significant contribution of the oil and gas sector to the development of the national economy. Over the years of independence, the country's oil and gas industry has undergone a complete transformation. Large projects have been implemented, and the construction of several facilities is ongoing. The oil and gas industry is being developed along the path of diversification. New processing plants are being established, and the capacities of existing enterprises are being increased and expanded. The export of gas and petroleum products to foreign markets is growing, taking into account the high demand from consumers.
The esteemed President provides important instructions regarding the discovery of new gas fields in the regions of the country, their industrial development, and a significant increase in natural gas production. To fulfill these tasks, the State Concern "Turkmengaz" is carrying out effective work. The labor collectives of the concern annually successfully fulfill their production plans for extracting "blue fuel." The high efficiency of the work performed is ensured by the dedicated and coordinated labor of gas workers, oil workers, and geologists. The creation of all necessary conditions for employees and specialists of the oil and gas sector instills pride in everyone. Thanks to the efforts of the esteemed President, the equipping of the oil and gas sector with modern technologies and equipment from abroad ensures high quality and a fast pace of the work performed. Energy projects launched in September of this year also hold particular significance in addressing the sector's challenges.
These days, the Turkmen people are actively preparing to celebrate International Neutrality Day. This holiday coincides with the Day of Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers. By the day of the double celebration, all our sectors, including the oil and gas sector, are approaching with labor achievements. We always wish success to the hardworking individuals who contribute significantly to the development and transformation of our country, glorifying it. The people of Turkmenistan, guided by the main principle "The state is for the people!" firmly believe that the conditions being created are intended for them and increasingly unite around our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
