Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University and Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The ceremonial signing took place on the sidelines of the International Scientific and Practical Conference titled *“Prospects for Innovative Technologies in Chemistry and Gas Chemistry”* held at Turkmenistan's oil and gas university.

The MoU outlines plans to expand and develop joint research and projects in the fields of oil and gas, geological studies, chemical technologies, digital economy, renewable energy, green energy, and addressing environmental issues related to climate change. Additionally, the agreement aims to promote joint publications of research results by professors, lecturers, specialists, and young scientists in internationally indexed scientific journals.

Effective collaboration in science and education between Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University, Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd, and Petronas Technology University has been successfully ongoing for several years.
