
As part of his working trip to the Balkan velayat on November 2, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Çalik Holding Group of Companies, Ahmet Çalık.
The businessman noted that during the years of independence, Turkmenistan has implemented large-scale projects that clearly demonstrate the successful realization of the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan. He also emphasized that it is a great honor for his company to contribute to the implementation of major programs being carried out in Turkmenistan, their homeland.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov drew attention to the energy projects and noted that the combined-cycle power plant currently under construction on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea will make it possible to export electricity across the Caspian Sea to neighboring countries, including the brotherly Republic of Türkiye, and from there to other countries.
The Head of State also highlighted the importance of the complex being built in the Balkan velayat with an annual capacity of 1 million 155 thousand tons of urea, emphasizing its role in diversifying and developing the national economy. He expressed confidence that Çalik Holding would continue to work effectively on the implementation of state-level projects in Turkmenistan, introducing new technologies and equipment that meet advanced modern standards.
Ahmet Çalık expressed sincere gratitude for the high trust placed in him and stressed that his company would continue to approach its contractual obligations with great responsibility.
