
The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, congratulated President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the solemn presentation to him of the highest state award of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the “Ýokary derejeli dostluk” (“Oliý Darajali Dustlik”) order.

Your state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan and participation in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will give new impetus to strengthening the friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, which stand as a vivid example of good neighborliness and strategic cooperation in the region and contribute to enhancing cooperation in Central Asia,” stated Hero-Arkadag.
“Thanks to your efforts, the fruitful Turkmen–Uzbek partnership meets the long-term interests of the two brotherly countries and is a fundamental condition for ensuring peace, security, and sustainable development in Central Asia. The work currently carried out by Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan to bring cooperation to a qualitatively new level—fully in line with the priorities of socio-economic development and the national interests of both sides—contributes to the further rapprochement of the two brotherly peoples and the strengthening of centuries-old friendship.
The presentation to you, in the International Year of Peace and Trust, of the highest state award of the brotherly country during your state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan—a close and reliable partner of Turkmenistan in interstate relations—attests to the recognition of your initiatives of universal significance and your extensive activities on the international stage, particularly in developing good-neighborly and friendly relations, cultural and economic cooperation with Uzbekistan, and in strengthening peace and trust,” emphasized the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people wished the head of state robust health, long life, and continued success in his peaceful, humane, and creative foreign policy.
