
On November 26, 2025, the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University hosted a hybrid-format international scientific-practical conference and exhibition titled “The Future of Digital Innovative Technologies and Their Integration into the Science and Education System.” Nearly 1,500 specialists, scholars, and students from 22 countries took part in the event dedicated to the significant anniversary.
Participants first visited an exhibition displayed in the university’s spacious lobby, showcasing new digital solutions, interactive learning tools, educational software, as well as achievements of local teachers and students. Following this, the opening ceremony of the conference was held, during which the development trends of digital innovations, their integration into science and education, and the expansion of international cooperation were discussed.
The forum continued its work in three sections: “Digitalization and Digital Technologies in Education,” “Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence,” and “The Role of the Digital Economy in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals.” More than 30 presentations were delivered at the plenary session and over 120 in the sectional meetings. Speakers noted the rapid development of digital technologies in Turkmenistan, made possible by the successful implementation of long-term socio-economic development programs.
During the conference, the importance of expanding international cooperation was emphasized, and readiness was expressed to strengthen collaboration with foreign universities and scientific centers. Words of gratitude were also conveyed to the Hero Arkadag and the Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the conditions created for such initiatives.
