On October 17, Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the draft "Strategy for the Development of Higher Professional Education in Turkmenistan for 2026–2052" and the Resolution approving it.
The strategy aims to improve the higher professional education management system in accordance with international standards and national experience, implement modern planning and management mechanisms taking into account demographic indicators, labor market development, and economic planning, and create a national environment for competitive higher professional education based on advanced teaching methods, digital technologies, and artificial intelligence.
At the same time, it is planned to radically modernize educational activities through state and international accreditation, continuously improve the professional skills of faculty, staff, and managers, and create modern tools for interaction between science, education, industry, and business.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of further improving the country's higher education institutions. Signing the resolution, the head of state addressed the Deputy Prime Minister with the relevant instructions.
