On October 17, at a government meeting, Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov noted that the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs) was successfully held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in August of this year. Following the international forum, the Avaza Political Declaration was adopted.
In this regard, the Foreign Minister shared the good news that, given the political significance of this International Forum and the enormous importance of its outcomes for the global community, the Resolution "Avaza Political Declaration" was unanimously adopted at the 18th plenary meeting of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, held on October 14, 2025, in New York City, USA.
Taking this opportunity, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister warmly congratulated the President of Turkmenistan and Hero Arkadag on this significant event.
As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, the efforts of the permanently neutral Fatherland to maintain global peace and develop mutually beneficial relations are widely supported by the international community, as vividly demonstrated by the good news received from the UN.
