
On November 6, under the chairmanship of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a regular meeting of the State Organizing Committee for preparations for events marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust was held. The Hero-Arkadag heard reports from relevant officials on the work being carried out in their respective sectors in this regard.
According to the reports, large-scale cultural events will be organized to mark these significant dates. Guests and participants of the celebrations will be provided with a high level of service in accordance with the principles of national hospitality. Special attention is also being paid to ensuring high-quality communication and Internet services for participants of international events.
Emphasizing that during the historically significant celebrations, the culture of trade and public services must meet international standards and national traditions of hospitality, the Hero-Arkadag offered valuable advice on this matter. The importance of wide media coverage of the anniversary celebrations was also noted.
The meeting also issued important instructions regarding the opening of retail outlets in Ashgabat and the velayats, organizing the sale of various goods, including souvenir and commemorative products, and providing opportunities for guests to become acquainted with national cuisine.
The necessity of organizing high-level cultural and theatrical events dedicated to the anniversary, ensuring their broad coverage in the media, and preparing printed materials for the occasion was also highlighted.
In addition, the importance of properly organizing international scientific and practical conferences was emphasized. It was noted that special attention should be given to the high-quality preparation of teachers and students who will participate in international celebrations as volunteers and interpreters, the Hero-Arkadag said.
