The Turkmen delegation, led by Chairman of the State Concern “Türkmennebit” Guvanch Agajanov, took part in the “Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference” (ADIPEC-2025), held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from November 3 to 6, 2025. The news was reported by the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event was held under the patronage of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The opening ceremony was attended by executives and specialists from leading global energy companies.
At Turkmenistan’s national pavilion, the country showcased its achievements and opportunities in the oil and gas industry, as well as its investment prospects for foreign partners.
During the exhibition, G. Agajanov met with the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Group CEO and Managing Director of ADNOC, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber. The parties expressed satisfaction with the current level of Turkmen-Emirati cooperation in the energy sector and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening their mutually beneficial partnership.
On November 3, G. Agajanov met with Saeed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ENOC and Dragon Oil, at the Dragon Oil pavilion. On November 4, another meeting was held at Turkmenistan’s pavilion with Abdulkarim Al Mazmi, CEO of Dragon Oil. The meetings focused on the current state of cooperation and discussed prospects for future joint projects.
The Dragon Oil pavilion featured an extensive exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the company’s partnership with Turkmenistan.
Additionally, the Turkmen delegation held meetings with representatives of leading international companies, including ADNOC, Petronas, Siemens Energy, Baker Hughes, Yug-Neftegaz, and Azizi Group. Discussions focused on cooperation opportunities in the oil, gas, and energy sectors, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
Turkmenistan’s participation in the ADIPEC-2025 international exhibition and conference became an important step toward strengthening international energy cooperation, promoting the country’s investment potential, and expanding business relations with major global companies.
