On November 5, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited the "Arkadag" park of the new “smart” city, where Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov and the city’s Hyakim (Mayor) Gulshat Mammedova reported on the ongoing work to install sculptures of the “heavenly” Akhal-Teke horses and a composition depicting a trade caravan, in accordance with previously given instructions.
It was noted that the sculptures installed in the park will symbolize the national values and historical heritage of the Turkmen people. Special attention is being paid to ensuring harmony between the sculptures and other park elements, such as fountains. In this regard, joint work is being carried out with representatives of the relevant departments.
After inspecting the presented sculptures, Hero-Arkadag made several observations and suggested corresponding adjustments. The sculptures of the horses and the trade caravan composition to be installed in the park should reflect the people’s deep love for the national values of Turkmenistan. It was noted that work in the city of Arkadag is progressing at a proper level, and all urban structures are effectively performing their tasks.
Hero-Arkadag also emphasized that the plaques accompanying each sculpture of the legendary horses should include information about the horses themselves and their achievements.
Highlighting the importance of paying particular attention to the construction of various facilities and their decorative features, Hero-Arkadag gave his recommendations in this regard.
