In order to develop the livestock and poultry industries on a scientific basis in the era of the Renaissance of the new era of a powerful state, to develop innovative veterinary research technologies, to increase the effectiveness of scientific research on the rational use of pastures, and to improve technologies for the production and processing of livestock products, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree.

According to the document, the Ministry of Agriculture is instructed to establish the Scientific Research Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine within the framework of the Scientific and Production Center for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov, in accordance with established procedures, and to prepare and approve the Statute of this Institute.
