Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures being implemented by the State Concern Türkmennebit to increase oil production at a government meeting on November 28.

As reported, work in this direction is underway at oil fields and platforms. As a result, newly drilled production wells at the Uzynada field have produced gas condensate, which is connected to the general oil pipeline system. Additional volumes of hydrocarbons have also begun to flow. This fact clearly demonstrates the potential of this field and its enormous importance for increasing oil production.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the country is implementing targeted efforts to modernize the material and technical infrastructure of the oil and gas sector. In this regard, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to continue the effective development of hydrocarbon-rich oil and gas fields and to take measures to increase oil production volumes.
