
On November 14, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of public issues were discussed.
Mejlis Speaker Dunyagozel Gulmanova reported on ongoing efforts to improve national legislation. Work is currently underway to draft the Laws of Turkmenistan "On Scientific Intellectual Property" and "On Virtual Assets," as well as to amend and supplement existing legislation.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov then reported on preparations for the next meeting of the Joint Turkmen-Tatarstan Working Group on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, and Cultural Cooperation, scheduled to be held in Ashgabat this November.
Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov reported on the progress of oil and natural gas exploration by the State Corporation "Türkmengeologiýa." He noted that Turkmen geologists are taking appropriate steps to identify underground reserves of natural resources using powerful equipment, seismic equipment, and software systems. In this regard, it was reported that seismic exploration in the provinces has revealed several structures.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atakhalliyev then reported on the progress of seasonal campaigns in the country's agricultural sector and provinces. It was reported that mineral fertilizers and irrigation are continuing in wheat fields in accordance with agricultural standards to ensure a bountiful harvest next year. Livestock farms are continuing to prepare for a warm and nutritious winter for their livestock.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Baymyrat Annamammedov reported on the activities underway in Ashgabat in preparation for the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality. Currently, repairs and improvements are underway at cultural and social facilities and parks in the capital, as well as the planting of various tree saplings and ornamental flowers in adjacent areas.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Nokerguly Atagulyev then reported on preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Turkmen-Qatari Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Doha in November.
Deputy Prime Minister Bahar Seyidova reported on the draft resolution "On the announcement of a competition for the "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" Presidential Prize." The aforementioned competition will include a televised contest for amateur young performers, "Ýaňlan, Diýarym!", a competition for dutarists and bakhshi musicians, "Çalsana, bagşy!", and a competition for talented children, "Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri."
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva then reported on preparations for the awards ceremony for the Turkmenistan Youth Prize laureates. The awards ceremony is scheduled for November 16 at the Center for Public Organizations of Turkmenistan.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov then reported on the ongoing comprehensive preparations for President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's participation in the Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the state visit of the Turkmen leader to the Republic of Uzbekistan. As noted, the agenda of the upcoming Seventh Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in Tashkent will cover a wide range of areas of interstate partnership, including further strengthening constructive interaction in the region and exchanging views on pressing regional and international issues.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Mammetkhan Chakyev reported on the measures being taken to bring the regulatory framework for road transport in line with current requirements.
A number of other public issues were also discussed at the meeting, and relevant decisions were made.
