On October 22, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the chairman of the companies Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil, Said Al Tayer, as well as the acting chairman of the board of Dragon Oil, Abdulkarim Al Maazmi.
Expressing gratitude to the head of Turkmenistan for the hospitality extended, the businessmen noted the success of the state policy aimed at diversifying the country’s fuel and energy sector, as well as Turkmenistan’s growing authority on the international stage as an energy power.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that during the visit, the guests would participate in the International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025," and also familiarize themselves with the large-scale activities and achievements in this sector taking place in our country. In this context, confidence was expressed that the outcomes of the upcoming meetings would contribute to the further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
Emphasizing that Turkmenistan is undergoing fundamental transformations and creating favorable conditions for doing business, the head of state confirmed the country’s readiness to consider specific proposals from Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) and Dragon Oil to expand partnership.
