
On November 21, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov reported at a government meeting on preparations for the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan scheduled for November 24–25.
It was noted that mutual visits and high-level meetings, held on a regular basis, play a key role in strengthening and developing Turkmen–Kazakh relations. Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan cooperate effectively within reputable international organizations, primarily the United Nations, supporting each other’s constructive initiatives.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated that Kazakhstan is one of Turkmenistan’s close neighboring partner states, with friendly and brotherly relations maintained between the two countries. In this regard, the head of state instructed the Minister of Foreign Affairs to ensure proper preparations for the upcoming state visit to Kazakhstan.
