On November 22, a regular meeting of the State Organizing Committee for events marking the International Year of Peace and Trust and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality was held under the chairmanship of Hero Arkadag of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting was attended by leaders of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, and heads of the country's military and law enforcement agencies. Organizational issues related to the upcoming representative Forum were discussed.
Speaking about the agenda of the Organizing Committee meeting, Hero Arkadag emphasized the importance of coordinating the organizational components of the Forum and the international events held within its framework.
Emphasizing the importance of organizing the sale of various goods and souvenirs with commemorative symbols in shopping centers in Ashgabat and the provinces during the holidays, Hero Arkadag noted that participants in large-scale exhibitions and international events dedicated to these occasions must be provided with services in accordance with national hospitality traditions.
Every effort must be made to hold international events and festive celebrations at the highest level, Hero Arkadag said. Teachers and students who will participate as volunteers and translators must make a worthy contribution to this endeavor. Particular attention should be paid to their level of training. It is important to provide participants with high-quality communication and internet access at hotels and event venues organized as part of the Forum.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized the need to organize the presence of all services, ensure the maintenance of order, and ensure the smooth operation of public transportation in the city.
