On November 22, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Afghanistan held a ceremonial reception to mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, International Neutrality Day, and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Kabul.
Participants were provided with information about events held in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and International Neutrality Day, including preparations for the International Forum to be held in Ashgabat in December this year.
During the ceremony, special attention was given to Turkmenistan’s major economic projects in Afghanistan — the TAPI gas pipeline, TAP electricity transmission lines, railway and fiber-optic communication networks — as well as humanitarian assistance provided to the Afghan people.
Additionally, video materials showcasing Turkmenistan’s international achievements were presented to the attendees.
