The President of Turkmenistan and Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, signed a decree recognizing the contributions of servicemen and employees of military and law enforcement agencies. Taking into account their role in strengthening the defense capabilities of the independent Motherland, their conscientious fulfillment of sacred military duty, and their significant contributions to ensuring legality, public order, and societal tranquility, as well as in honor of Defender of the Fatherland Day, military and special ranks, as well as class ranks, were conferred on a group of servicemen and employees. This decision was made in accordance with Article 71, Paragraph 15 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan.
The President also signed a decree awarding medals of Turkmenistan to a group of servicemen and employees of military and law enforcement agencies. The award recognizes their outstanding personal contributions to strengthening the independence and sovereignty of neutral Turkmenistan, ensuring its defense capability, protecting territorial integrity, constitutional order, security, public and legal order, and rule of law. It also acknowledges their exemplary performance of military duties, excellent achievements in combat training, impeccable service to the sovereign Motherland and its courageous people, diligent work over many years, special merits before the state and society, and significant successes in productive state and public activities, all in celebration of Defender of the Fatherland Day.
