Today, an important meeting took place at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with representatives of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan, B.Orazdurdyyeva. The ADB delegation was led by Sophia Shaqil, Director of the Human and Social Development Department. The meeting focused on further cooperation in education and human capital development.

Minister Orazdurdieva expressed gratitude to the ADB for the long-standing and productive partnership, emphasizing the significance of the bank's support in implementing various projects aimed at sustainable development and modernization of the country's economy. The ADB representatives reaffirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts and support Turkmenistan's initiatives in the education sector.

Particular attention was given to discussing successful projects implemented in cooperation with the ADB and new prospects, such as the development of technical and vocational education, training personnel for the tourism sector, and strengthening cooperation in STEM education.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in further fruitful collaboration and outlined the main directions of joint work for the coming years.
