The dates for the 2025 admission campaign to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions in Turkmenistan have been officially announced.
On July 11, 2025, during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a corresponding Resolution. According to the document, the admission plan for higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of the country for the 2025 academic year, as well as the composition of the State Commission for Admission to these institutions, were approved.
It was also instructed to continue scientific research, develop industrial sectors on a scientific basis through the integration of science and production, and to expand international cooperation in this field.
The administrations of the velayats, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, were instructed to create the necessary conditions for the proper functioning of the working groups responsible for student admission to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
In addition, according to another Presidential Resolution:
the 2025 admission plan for higher educational institutions in the velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag was approved;
the 2025 admission plan for secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan was also approved.
The admission campaign to Turkmenistan’s higher and secondary vocational educational institutions will be conducted from July 14 to August 25, 2025.
It was also established that the entrance exams will be held at the locations of the respective educational institutions.
