During the past week, 14 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased base oil (produced by the “Türkmennebit” State Concern), liquefied gas, and sodium chloride (produced by the “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern).
Additionally, for foreign currency, representatives of business circles from Serbia, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan purchased unrefined dried licorice root, dyed fabrics, men’s shirts, and Portland cement. The total value of the transactions exceeded 1 million 471 thousand US dollars.
Domestic entrepreneurs purchased thick licorice root extract, base oil, aerated concrete blocks, cotton soapstock, and fatty acids from raw cotton for the domestic market. The total amount of these purchases exceeded 5 million 818 thousand manats.
