Turkmenistan took part in the opening of the international conference on hydrocarbon neutrality and green development in Seoul
On August 22, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea Begench Durdyev took part in the opening ceremony of the international conference "Global Cooperation Conference on Hydrocarbon Neutrality and Green Development" held in Seoul.
The new Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea Kim Min-seok spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference and acquainted the participants with the program of the new government to create a specialized industrial complex in the near future in order to increase the use of renewable energy sources, achieve hydrocarbon neutrality and accelerate the transition to green energy.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan had the opportunity to have a brief conversation with Prime Minister Kim Min-seok.
Durdyev conveyed sincere greetings to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Leadership of Turkmenistan and congratulated Kim Min-seok on his appointment. He also expressed confidence in the further strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and wished the Prime Minister success in his new responsible position.
The Korean side expressed gratitude for the greetings and warm wishes and noted its great interest in developing mutually beneficial relations and cooperation with the countries of Central Asia, and in particular with Turkmenistan in various sectors.
