On January 8, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, made a working visit to the city of Arkadag, recognized as a bright symbol of Turkmenistan's achievements. Here, the Hero of Arkadag was presented with the work plan for the second phase of construction of the new city and the planned projects for the upcoming structures. Additionally, the Hero of Arkadag held a working meeting with relevant leaders of the new city.

At present, as in all corners of our country, truly historic events are taking place in the life of the new city, which was founded through the initiative and consistent efforts of the Hero of Arkadag. The noble work, based on the principles of humanism and aimed at achieving high goals, is focused on maintaining national prosperity and ensuring a happy life for the people.

Early in the morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, arrived in Arkadag, a city that combines modern technology with national architectural traditions. Effective work is underway here to improve the quality of life for the population.

The Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan, D. Orazov, reported on the images that will be placed on the planned buildings in the new city. It was noted that, in accordance with the instructions of the Hero of Arkadag, great attention is being given to the landscaping of the park and its decorative features in line with modern requirements.

The Hero of Arkadag, after reviewing the proposed images to be placed in the planned park complex of the new city, made several comments and introduced amendments. An important requirement was identified: ensuring the comfort of the benches to be placed in the park, especially for children.

Special attention should be given to national architectural principles and the ecological level of the area. Emphasizing the importance of issues concerning the comfortable living conditions and high-quality recreation of the citizens, the Hero of Arkadag issued a number of instructions.

Then, the Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero of Arkadag, familiarized himself with the plans for social facilities to be constructed in the second phase of the development, as well as the layout schemes for their placement.

The prepared projects and layout drawings for the planned facilities were presented by the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag, D. Orazov, and the Mayor of Arkadag, G. Mammedova.

After reviewing the presented projects and plans for the placement of facilities, the Hero of Arkadag made several remarks and introduced necessary amendments. He provided recommendations on the placement of benches in the planned park, emphasizing not only the comfort but also the decorative features of these benches, ensuring that their designs leave a lasting impression on children.

Noting that the entrance to the medical cluster complex in Arkadag should have a unique architectural design, the Hero of Arkadag emphasized that the structure and its decorative elements should reflect the symbols of the modern production system.

In this regard, the quality, durability of buildings, and the appearance of each structure, in accordance with its significance, should always be the central focus. In particular, placing a logo at the entrance to the medical cluster of the new city is considered appropriate.

A project for the cultural and entertainment center of the new city, established under the initiative of the Hero of Arkadag, has been prepared. It will house a modern restaurant, hotel, business center, and various sports facilities. The buildings in this center should reflect the spirit of cities built by the Turkmen people throughout history, such as the ancient fortress of Nisa and the monument of Parizdepe.

This reflects a comprehensive approach to the preparation of projects for the social infrastructure complex, developed under the initiative and tireless efforts of the Hero of Arkadag. The placement of images of historical values in the cultural and entertainment park of the new city will enhance the younger generation’s feelings of love and respect for the glorious history of our wise ancestors.

The Hero of Arkadag pointed out that all the objects being built in the new city should meet international standards in terms of their decorative features and ecological conditions. The local natural features must be taken into account in the construction of these facilities. This has been established as a critical requirement for developers and builders.

Subsequently, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, held a working meeting with the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag, D. Orazov, and the Mayor of Arkadag, G. Mammedova.

D. Orazov reported on the progress of the work in the new city, as well as the projects for the planned facilities and the types of materials being used. During the report, views of the second phase medical cluster and images to be placed in parks were presented to the Hero of Arkadag.

The Honored Architect of Turkmenistan, Hero of Arkadag, noted that every industrial building must correspond to its significance, with particular attention given to their equipment. Proper production based on local raw materials must be ensured, and the national flavor should be reflected in the design of the buildings in the new city.

The Hero of Arkadag issued instructions to accelerate the pace of work in the second phase of the city’s development. Several remarks were made regarding the preparation of images to be placed in the new park zones, and necessary amendments were introduced. The Hero of Arkadag outlined important tasks related to the construction of the new city, the equipping of complexes, and the decorative features of the buildings.

During the working meeting, the Mayor of Arkadag, G. Mammedova, reported on the progress of cleaning and landscaping work, as well as the settlement of residents in the new residential houses. It was reported that significant attention is being given to increasing the pace of these activities and ensuring their continuity.

The Mayor also reported that cleanliness and landscaping in the city are being ensured at a high level thanks to the effective use of powerful machinery purchased by the President of Turkmenistan.

As emphasized by the Hero of Arkadag, the ecological level of the new city, built using modern technologies, has been recognized by several international certificates. In this context, comprehensive work must be carried out to maintain the proper ecological situation in Arkadag, with great attention given to the effective use of modern machinery and careful approach to its operation.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people stated that the work on settling residents into the newly built residential houses in Arkadag, equipped with high-class amenities, must be carried out to a high standard. In particular, cultural and mass events dedicated to International Women's Day should be organized at a high level, and keys to the new apartment buildings, including cottages, should be presented to large families in a ceremonial setting.

This is a clear testament to the socially oriented state policy, the essence of which is reflected in the noble principle "The State is for the People!" This principle is being successfully implemented today, with care for the people at its core.

The Hero of Arkadag then proceeded to the wastewater treatment facility located north of the Karakum River.

North of the Karakum River, facilities for the wastewater treatment of the first phase of Arkadag city are operational. A video presentation of the new wastewater treatment facility was shown to the Hero of Arkadag. The National Leader of the Turkmen people familiarized himself with the equipment of the next wastewater treatment complex, which will be built, and the details of its operation. This is a clear indication that the Hero of Arkadag pays attention to every aspect of the work aimed at strengthening the country’s welfare and ensuring the happy life of our people.

The complex includes a reservoir, a closed drainage system, an irrigation water system, ozone generators, and a facility designed to store 100,000 cubic meters of water.

Wastewater is planned to be processed and purified, meeting modern standards, to irrigate green spaces, parks, and gardens in Arkadag city, serve the needs of industrial complexes, as well as nearby villages. Excess processed water will be released into the Karakum River.

This illustrates the importance placed by the government of our country on the effective and rational use of water resources. Access to water in our region is a direct and often decisive factor in economic and social prosperity, living standards, and quality of life.

This reflects the understanding that Arkadag, the scholar, considers the implementation of modern technologies and scientific achievements in water resource management a crucial task. As noted by the Hero of Arkadag, the coordinated operation of the new facility guarantees that no water will be wasted. This reflects the successful implementation of environmental and water resource protection policies under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan.

The Hero of Arkadag emphasized the need for specialists to approach work at the new facility with great responsibility, as careful treatment of water resources is one of the noble principles laid down by our wise ancestors.

In ancient times, our ancestors invented unique irrigation methods. They passed on the intricacies of irrigation and distinctive water usage techniques from generation to generation.

Thus, the creation of a perfect national irrigation system involved the use of special kyarizes, dzhikyries, wells, and sardobas. Our wise ancestors valued every drop of water as gold. Today, these national principles are even more refined and aligned with modern requirements through advanced technologies and digital systems, as noted by the scholar Arkadag.

The clean water discharge levels show that the water fully meets high ecological standards. Noting that the composition of the water is studied scientifically in specialized laboratories, the Hero of Arkadag issued a number of instructions in this regard.

Under the initiative of the scholar Arkadag, the Turkmen Lake "Altyn Asyr" was created in the center of the Karakum Desert. This is yet another testament to the fact that good deeds aimed at gathering water resources from collectors and underground waters of agricultural lands in one lake are yielding positive results.

This noble initiative has provided the country with enormous opportunities for preserving water resources, improving the irrigation system of agricultural lands, and developing agriculture, including fishing, in desert areas.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people expressed confidence that the tasks set in the new city will be successfully accomplished, and, wishing them worthy execution, departed from the event.
