Record number of participants confirmed for OGT 2025

The 30th Anniversary International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – OGT 2025" is set to kick off in Ashgabat in just a few days. This year, the event has broken records in terms of participation, with 1,400 delegates from 70 countries registered for the forum. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov informed the President of Turkmenistan about this during his report on the preparations for the forum.

This milestone once again confirms the status of OGT 2025 as one of the largest energy business platforms in the history of the Eurasian region. In this context, the Organizing Committee expressed its gratitude to all partners, sponsors, and participants for their exceptional support and cooperation.

Currently, logistics, travel, and coordination teams have already begun working around the clock to ensure delegates enjoy a comfortable stay in the capital of Turkmenistan and seamless participation in all OGT 2025 events.

At Ashgabat International Airport, a "Green Corridor" system will be in place to facilitate expedited immigration and customs procedures for all registered participants. Complimentary airport transfers will be arranged for each delegate.

Guests of Turkmenistan will be treated to a cultural program, including guided tours to the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets and the ancient architectural site of Nisa. As part of the entertainment program, a golf tournament will be held, providing an opportunity for informal networking among OGT 2025 participants.

A distinguished lineup of speakers will take part in this major energy dialogue. Among them are Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA and Chairman of ENOC Group; Dr. Daniel Yergin, Vice Chairman of S&P Global and Chairman of CERAWeek; Andrea Stegher, President of the International Gas Union; Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan; Orkhan Zeynalov, Deputy Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan; Mohd Jukris Abdul Wahab, Executive Vice President of PETRONAS; Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR; Abdulvahit Fidan, Director General of BOTAŞ; and Abdullah Al Shamsi, Business Development Director of ADNOC XRG, among many others.

It is worth recalling that the themes of OGT 2025 will be “Energy”, “Innovation”, and “Growth”, symbolizing three decades of dialogue, cooperation, and progress.
