On September 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliev and hakims velayats, which reviewed the progress of seasonal work in the agro-industrial complex and regions of the country, as well as the implementation of the National Rural Program.

The first floor was given to the hyakim of the Akhal Velayat, S.Soltanmyradov, who reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural sector of the region.

As noted, work is currently underway to harvest cotton in the shortest possible time and without losses, while cotton harvesters and other equipment are effectively used. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the smooth delivery of harvested raw cotton to warehouses and reception points.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in an organized manner on the agricultural lands of the velayat. Agricultural machinery and equipment are used at full capacity. Vegetation irrigation is carried out on the sown areas.

In fields sown with potatoes, vegetables and other crops, care is carried out, as well as harvesting of the ripe harvest.

Information was provided on the progress of construction within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program of various facilities planned for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted that an important requirement of the day is the organized sowing of wheat and cotton picking, giving hyakim a number of specific instructions.

Also, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to keep under control the quality and timing of construction of various facilities planned for opening this year.

The Governor of the Balkan Velayat H.Ashyrmyradov reported on the pace of seasonal work in the agricultural sector of the region.

As noted, the necessary measures are currently being taken to ensure the uninterrupted delivery of the harvested crop to cotton gins and receiving points, as well as the effective use of cotton harvesters and machinery for the transportation of raw cotton.

Along with this, in order to ensure high-quality sowing of wheat, agricultural machinery and equipment are used at full capacity. Vegetation irrigation has begun on the sown areas to obtain uniform shoots.

In order to fulfill the tasks set by the head of state to further strengthen food abundance in the country, potato, vegetable and other crops are being cared for.

Information was provided on the pace of construction within the framework of the National Rural Program of facilities for various purposes, the commissioning of which is scheduled for the current year.

Summarizing the report and stressing that the responsible season for agriculture is currently underway, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered to take the necessary measures for high-quality and timely sowing of wheat, as well as harvesting cotton without losses.

At the same time, the head of state instructed to keep under constant control the pace and quality of construction of facilities within the framework of the National Rural Program, scheduled for opening this year.

The workshop continued with a report by hyakim of Dashoguz velayat D.Babayev on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, measures are currently being taken to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting on time and without losses. Combines and other equipment are effectively used in the fields. Efforts are being made to ensure the smooth operation of cotton collection points.

In accordance with the norms of agricultural technology, wheat sowing continues in an organized manner on time. Vegetation irrigation has begun in the areas where seedlings have been obtained.

Along with this, work is being carried out on sowing winter crops, caring for acreage and harvesting grown crops, as well as preparing for rice harvesting.

In addition, hyakim reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year as part of the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan identified among the main tasks the sowing of wheat, taking into account the norms of agricultural technology, harvesting raw cotton as soon as possible and without losses, giving specific instructions to the hyakim in this regard.

Also, in accordance with the programs of socio-economic development of the country, the head of state ordered to control the quality of construction of buildings and structures for various purposes scheduled for commissioning this year.

Then M.Annanepesov, the head of the Lebap Velayat, reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

As noted, measures have now been taken for the organized harvesting of cotton, its uninterrupted delivery to reception points. Special attention is paid to the operation of the agricultural machinery involved at full capacity.

At the same time, agricultural machinery and aggregates are effectively used in order to sow wheat in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology and on time. Vegetation irrigation began in the fields where seedlings appeared.

Guided by the instructions of the head of state to further strengthen food abundance in the country, the care of potatoes, vegetables and other agricultural crops continues. At the final stage – the care of rice fields.

It was also reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be put into operation this year in the velayat according to the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan on the transformation of the social and living conditions of the population of villages, towns, cities of etraps and etrap centers for the period up to 2028.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary to take appropriate measures for high-quality wheat sowing and cotton harvesting as soon as possible, and gave appropriate instructions to the hakim in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to control the quality and timely execution of construction works at various facilities scheduled for commissioning this year in the velayat within the framework of the country's socio-economic development programs.

Then the Governor of Mary velayat B.Orazov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, measures are currently being taken in the velayat to accelerate the pace of cotton harvesting without losses, uninterrupted delivery of the harvested crop to reception points and cotton gins, as well as effective operation of cotton harvesters and vehicles.

Along with this, wheat sowing continues in the velayat, efforts are being made to ensure the quality of this important season. The agricultural machinery used in the fields is used at full capacity. In order to obtain good seedlings on the sown areas, the necessary agricultural work is carried out in accordance with the norms of agricultural technology.

Potatoes and other agricultural crops are also cared for. Row-to-row processing, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers, and watering are carried out in fields sown with sugar beet.

It was also reported on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities, which are planned to be commissioned this year in accordance with the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, the head of state noted that sowing wheat in agrotechnical terms is one of the main conditions for obtaining a rich harvest in the future, and gave specific instructions to the hyakim in this regard. Along with this, the head of state gave a number of instructions on harvesting the grown cotton crop as soon as possible and without losses.

In addition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the hyakim to monitor the proper and timely execution of construction works of buildings and structures for various purposes planned for commissioning this year according to the National Rural Program.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T.Atakhalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As reported, these days cotton is being harvested in the velayats on time and without loss, measures are being taken to effectively use agricultural machinery, uninterrupted delivery of crops grown by the hard work of daikhan to cotton gins.

In order to carry out wheat sowing in the country within agrotechnical deadlines and at the proper level, everything necessary is being done for the proper functioning of special equipment and aggregates, as well as to provide farmers with high-quality seeds.

Along with this, appropriate work is underway to fulfill the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan on growing a rich harvest of vegetables and other agricultural crops. As part of these activities, winter food crops are cared for. In Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, rice fields are cared for, in Mary Velayat – sugar beet, row-to-row processing, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers and irrigation are carried out.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed the importance of the seasonal campaigns currently underway in agriculture and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to monitor the implementation of work in this area at a high organizational level.

Then, addressing the participants of the workshop, the head of state noted that these days wheat sowing is in full swing, which is an important stage in the life of our grain growers. Experience shows that obtaining a rich grain harvest and, in general, ensuring food abundance in the country and improving the welfare of the people depend on timely and high-quality sowing campaign in accordance with agrotechnical standards, the President of Turkmenistan stressed.
