
On 28 November, Deputy Chairwoman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Bahar Seyidova reported at a government meeting on the procedure for holding the main events and opening ceremonies of social and cultural facilities scheduled for December of this year.
As reported, various conferences, exhibitions, creative meetings, awareness-raising and educational events, as well as song and music celebrations are planned for the coming month in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality.
In December, events dedicated to the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology are also planned, along with the final round of the “Ýylyň parlak ýyldyzy” contest, announced among the country’s young pop singers and amateur performers. Additionally, on 31 December of this year, a New Year’s teleconference will be held in front of the “Älem” Cultural and Entertainment Center, the “Arkadag” monument in the city of Arkadag, and the “Türkmeniň ak öýi” buildings in the velayats.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of proper preparation for the events scheduled for December within the framework of the International Year of Peace and Trust, as well as the need to ensure a high level of readiness for the commissioning ceremonies of various facilities.
