The Turkmenistan-Emirates Business Forum "Turkmenistan-UAE" started its work in the capital today. A delegation of representatives of government and business structures of the friendly country headed by the Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri arrived in the Turkmen capital to participate in the forum. A wide range of issues related to the realization of trade, economic, export and investment potential of the two countries were put on the agenda.

As part of the forum, an exhibition was held in the Expocentre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The content of the expositions clearly demonstrates the pace of development and efficiency of implementation of international investment and national projects in all sectors of the economy of Turkmenistan, represented by the relevant ministries and departments, State Concerns and Associations, individual enterprises.

During the business forum, the parties exchange views on the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation, the priority areas of which were identified as trade and economic sphere, energy sector, transport and communications and a number of other industries.

Bilateral meetings are also held on the margins of the business forum to intensify further areas of cooperation.
