On July 9, as part of his working trip to the Balkan velayat, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Congress Center located in the Awaza National Tourist Zone. It is here that meetings of various levels will take place during the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
Hero Arkadag inspected the building of the Congress Center and inquired about the landscaping of its surrounding area. Emphasizing the importance of decisions and agreements to be reached during high-level meetings for enhancing cooperation, he stressed the need for proper preparation of the premises. The National Leader also highlighted the necessity of ensuring all conditions for the effective work of foreign delegates.
In addition to infrastructure, he drew attention to the proper interior design of the center and the smooth operation of lighting systems.
Hero Arkadag underlined the significance of a comprehensive approach to covering the upcoming international events and the achievements of the prosperous Fatherland on the global stage, and gave relevant recommendations.
He was also briefed in detail about the building's advanced technological equipment and the conditions created for negotiations, meetings, and media activities.
