The city of Arkadag, founded on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, has become a center for hosting international conferences, forums, festivals, and exhibitions of great national significance. The large-scale events held here in celebration of the National Holiday of the Turkmen Horse reflected the prosperous life of the Turkmen people in the present era.

During the appreciation conference titled “Arkadag şäheri – ahalteke atlarynyň mekany” (“The City of Arkadag – the Homeland of Ahalteke Horses”), organized in the new city, the importance of the recent festive events in honor of the Turkmen horse was emphasized.
