Bassem Tadros, head of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) representative office, noted at the opening ceremony of the company’s office in Ashgabat that the United Arab Emirates and Turkmenistan share relations based on trust, respect, a common vision for energy security, and sustainable growth. In this regard, both countries are steadily deepening their political, economic, and investment ties, with the energy sector becoming one of the key pillars of their partnership.

“Turkmenistan is a country with world-class natural gas reserves, a strategically advantageous location between East and West, and a long-standing history of leadership in the energy sector. Turkmenistan is one of the most promising energy hubs in the world not only because of the scale of its resources but also due to its stability, clear objectives, and the forward-looking strategy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedow. The country’s potential to ensure regional energy security, diversify export routes, and expand its role in the global gas market is very significant and continues to grow,” said the head of the representative office.

Bassem Tadros also emphasized that combining Turkmenistan’s potential with ADNOC’s technical capabilities will become an effective strategy for global growth.
