On December 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council, which was also attended by the hyakims of the velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

Addressing the meeting participants, the President of Turkmenistan noted that during the "International Year of Peace and Trust," the independent Homeland will widely celebrate the 30th anniversary of its permanent neutrality. On this significant occasion, a series of international events are planned to take place both within the country and globally.

To ensure the high-level organization of celebrations dedicated to the "International Year of Peace and Trust," a State Organizing Committee has been established, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said. He emphasized that it would be appropriate to assign the leadership of this Organizing Committee to the Halk Maslahaty. Furthermore, he noted that every effort will be made to properly organize all planned events.
