The third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries, held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, became an important platform for promoting a global dialogue on equal opportunities around the world.
The forum, held on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, provided an opportunity for representatives of various states and international organizations to get acquainted with their views on national priorities and solutions to important tasks. The main goal of the forum was to develop effective tools that would allow overcoming the obstacles that landlocked developing countries face due to their geographical location.
The main document adopted at the end of the extensive conference, the new decade-long program - the Avaza Action Agenda, is one of the main outcomes of the forum, which is to consolidate efforts at the global and regional levels in such areas as transport, energy, trade and economy, and digitalization. The practical implementation of the Avaza Action Agenda will make a significant contribution to ensuring the sustainable development of landlocked developing countries.
