On October 4, a meeting was held at the central building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan to review the work completed in the first nine months of 2025.
Opening the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov noted that, under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, every opportunity is being created to improve and consistently develop the oil and gas industry, the material and technical base is being continuously modernized to ensure its effective operation, and the industry has been assigned important tasks.
The meeting focused on presentations on oil and gas condensate production, as well as liquefied natural gas in the country, the widespread use of digital systems in the complex's operations, the intensification of work at the Galkynysh gas field, the accelerated continuation of construction of the Serhetabat-Herat gas pipeline along the Arkadag road, the further acceleration of production facilities in response to various weather conditions as winter approaches, and other important areas.
At the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov outlined the important tasks facing the state-owned concerns Turkmengaz, Turkmennebit, and Turkmengeologiya, noting the importance of high-level preparations for the 30th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025," which will be held in Ashgabat from October 22 to 24, the consistent development of international cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, ongoing monitoring of major projects being implemented in the country's oil and gas industry, the widespread introduction of modern technologies in the industry, and the proper implementation of production and resource development plans. Ashyrguly Begliyev, Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, also participated in the meeting.
