In the era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan places great importance on the consistent development of the sanatorium and health resort sector. A clear testament to this is the modernization of existing health centers in the capital and the provinces, as well as the construction of new complexes.

One of the modern healthcare facilities providing quality services to the population is the “Neftchi” Sanatorium, located in the city of Balkanabat and operated by the "Nebitgazduypliabatlayysh" Trust of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" (Turkmen Oil).

Inspired by the state's concern for the well-being of the people, the doctors and nurses of the sanatorium provide high-level care to citizens who come here for treatment and rest. Based on modern medical practices, “Neftchi” offers a variety of treatment methods, integrating natural healing resources, the specific features of the local climate, and advanced medical technologies.

Operating since 1989, the sanatorium is a four-story facility with 100 beds, surrounded by ornamental trees and blooming flowers. In 2012, the building underwent a major renovation and was upgraded to meet aesthetic and medical standards. It was also equipped with modern medical devices in accordance with international requirements.

The sanatorium houses departments for rehabilitation and therapeutic treatment, physiotherapy, mineral water therapy, and more. Dozens of treatment methods are applied, primarily aimed at improving the functions of internal organs, relieving tension in the nervous system, preventing skin and joint diseases through local therapeutic muds, massages, and wraps, and enhancing the respiratory system. All procedures are carried out under the supervision of experienced doctors and nurses.

A key feature of the sanatorium is its landscaped grounds, clean air, modern residential rooms, and developed service infrastructure. There is a dining hall for 100 people, where guests are provided with hot meals three times a day. The “health path” allows patients to enjoy walks in the fresh mountain air.

Efforts are constantly made to expand the range of available treatments. Citizens from all over the country come here during their summer vacations to rest and recover.
