In our country, where the oil industry is one of the key sectors of the economy, the State Concern “Türkmennebit” includes not only main departments, but also a number of auxiliary units. One of them is the “Burnebitgazhyzmat” Department under the “Nebitgazburawlaýyş” Trust. The main task of this department is to supply enterprises with drilling and casing pipes. The department ensures the timely delivery of pipes to production sites where drilling operations are conducted, as well as their preparation for use, maintenance, technical testing and inspection. It also provides services related to transportation and specialized machinery.
Since the beginning of the year, the “Nebitgazçykaryş” Trust of the State Concern “Türkmennebit” has produced 1,278,817 tons of “black gold.” This achievement is clearly due in large part to the skilled work of experienced drillers. The high volume of oil and gas production directly depends on the scale of drilling operations. Since the start of the year, the drillers of the “Nebitgazburawlaýyş” Trust have drilled 57,246 meters of production wells and 16,051 meters of exploration wells. The “Burnebitgazhyzmat” Department has consistently supplied drilling enterprises with the necessary pipes on time. The department operates smoothly with the help of overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 12.5 tons, truck cranes with capacities ranging from 12 to 25 tons, and powerful specialized vehicles for transporting pipes.
The department maintains pipe yards at production sites in Goturdepe, Korpeje, Ekerem, and Akpatlawuk. It also supplies pipes to drilling areas in places such as Barsagelmez and Uzynada. Within the department, four operational sections are in place, where effective restoration of casing pipes used in drilling is carried out. These pipes are straightened, cleaned, and sent to the drillers. Powerful “ASW-1050” and “ASW-700” units available at the facility make it possible to accurately assess the condition and pressure resistance of the pipes before they are dispatched to the drilling teams. All pipes entering the industry—whether new or previously used—are inspected and certified by the technical control department of the pipe repair shop. It is worth noting that this is the only such unit within the State Concern “Türkmennebit” that performs such a responsible task.
Among the department’s priorities are ensuring the high quality of services provided to successfully fulfill oil and gas production plans, reducing the time required for drilling and well construction, establishing control over the efficient use of pipes, and preparing drilling and casing pipes for use with minimal labor and material costs. All these tasks are accomplished thanks to the dedicated efforts of the highly motivated specialists of the “Burnebitgazhyzmat” Department. The enterprise regularly supplies the drilling operations departments in Korpeje, Ekerem, Goturdepe, and Nebitdag with drilling and casing pipes, heavy-weight drill pipes, square kellys, drill and casing pipe connectors, check valves, and subs.
The Department's Labor Protection and Safety Division attaches great importance to strict compliance with labor discipline and ensuring safe working conditions. Throughout the year, inspections are regularly carried out in workshops and sections according to the schedule of the continuously operating occupational safety commission. All necessary working conditions are provided in the workshops. Workers are promptly supplied with special clothing and personal protective equipment.
The properly organized work of the “Burnebitgazhyzmat” Department testifies to the fact that its workforce is on track to complete the Year of Peace and Trust with high production results.
