The construction of the city of Arkadag serves as a clear example of an innovative approach not only to improving the socio-economic system but also to environmental protection. As the region’s first “smart” city, Arkadag fully meets ecological standards and integrates harmoniously with the surrounding environment.

Raising public environmental awareness is also a vital aspect of sustainable development. Regular tree-planting ceremonies and community clean-up campaigns aimed at protecting nature clearly reflect ongoing efforts in this field.

The participation of the Honorable President in several of these initiatives demonstrates the Head of State’s special attention to environmental protection. Tasks such as establishing forest belts, combating desertification, and preserving biological diversity are being successfully addressed through tree planting and care. Furthermore, the creation of the “Altyn Asyr” Turkmen Lake in the Karakum Desert has positively influenced the regulation of pasture use and the improvement of the overall ecological situation in the region.
