Specialists of the directorates of the Nebitgazburawlaýyş Trust of the Türkmennebit State Concern are making every effort to complete the year “Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy” with high labor successes. Over the first nine months of this year, the Trust completed drilling operations at 20 wells, 19 of which are production ones.

This indicates a confident advancement of oil and gas workers towards new heights. During the reporting period, drillers made a worthy contribution to the implementation of plans for the extraction of “black gold” from deposits developed by the Türkmennebit State Concern. 

In recent years, the Concern’s directorates, engaged in drilling operations, have acquired powerful modern high-performance equipment manufactured in Germany, the USA, China and Russia. This modern equipment is powerful drilling rigs capable of drilling to a depth of 7,000 meters. It is this situation that creates a reliable basis for the discovery of new deep oil deposits in the Miocene strata and a significant expansion of resources available for development.

Established in 1998 as part of the Concern, the Nebitgazburawlaýyş Trust is a specialized enterprise for drilling oil, gas, iodine-bromine and specialized wells. The relevant directorates of the Trust successfully carry out such activities as: 

— the complete construction of oil, gas, iodine-bromine and special wells by direct, inclined and horizontal drilling methods using an electric drill and rotary and downhole motors;

— the sealing and plugging of wells, construction of cement bridges in wells, etc.;

— the installation, dismantling and relocation of drilling equipment;

— research and development work, transition to higher levels and an increase in the pace of transition; 

— the decommissioning of wells from temporary operation and their re-commissioning;

— the repair of drilling and other equipment;

— the preparation, processing and increasing of the mass of drilling mud;

— the supply, repair and mechanical processing of conventional heavy and leading drill pipes;

— the supply, repair and testing of casing pipes;

— the preparation of spare parts for drilling equipment;

— the development of well construction projects;

— consulting services. 

The production and auxiliary structures of the Trust employ professionals in their field, highly qualified engineers-technologists, geologists, mechanics, power engineers and drillers who have extensive professional experience in drilling. The specialists of the Trust’s divisions have sufficient skills in drilling deep and horizontal wells in underground deposits of Western and Southwestern Turkmenistan, characterized by complex mining, geological and thermal physical and chemical characteristics. They perform high-quality inclined and horizontal drilling operations. 

At one time, specialists of the Goturdepe Drilling Directorate of the Trust were the first in the world to drill the deepest well (5 thousand 250 meters) horizontally using an electric drill and were able to achieve good results. The drilling directorates carry out the installation of drilling rigs at the proper level in sandy and salty soil and difficult weather conditions of Western Turkmenistan. All employees of the Trust are provided with special clothing and protective equipment that meet labor protection requirements. 

The main goal of the drillers is to worthily fulfill the high tasks set by the head of state Arkadagly Serdar before Turkmen oil workers. Newly drilled wells at the fields under development are highly efficient. Wells drilled at the Uzynada field, which has been developed recently, provide abundant flows of hydrocarbon raw materials. From the beginning of 2020 to date, the drilling directorates of the Trust have successfully drilled 208 new wells, of which 180 are production ones.
