On January 24, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, during which a number of pressing issues of state importance were discussed.
During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Amanov reported on the progress of modernization efforts at the oil refineries operated by the State Concern "Türkmennebit."
As reported, in accordance with the instructions given by the President of Turkmenistan on the efficient use of the capacities of specialized enterprises, necessary work is underway at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries and the Seydi Oil Refinery. These efforts aim to process oil, ensure uninterrupted supply of petroleum products to domestic consumers, and increase export volumes to foreign markets.
In this regard, a relevant proposal was submitted for the President’s consideration.
After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of developing the petrochemical industry in line with modern realities and modernizing oil refineries.
Approving the proposal prepared to ensure sufficient volumes of petroleum products for domestic consumers and foreign markets, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov issued relevant instructions to the Deputy Prime Minister.
