Turkmenistan’s grain farmers have achieved significant labor victories. Thanks to their dedication and productive efforts, 1,407,000 tons of wheat have been delivered to the state. This is a clear testament to the successful implementation—under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov—of the agricultural reforms initiated by the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
Harvesting machines from leading manufacturers such as “John Deere” and “CLAAS,” acquired with the support of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, were actively involved in this year's harvest season. These high-performance machines operated around the clock, allowing the crop to be collected swiftly, in full volume, and without losses.
The efficiency of the technical fleet involved in the harvest was maintained by hundreds of mobile repair and technical teams that worked day and night, supplying the machinery with fuel, lubricants, and spare parts. On-site, all necessary working and living conditions were provided for campaign participants, including mechanics and drivers. The harvested crop was immediately transported to receiving points, warehouses, and elevators. Timely and well-coordinated operations helped tenant farmers successfully fulfill their set tasks.
It should be noted that this year, from the 690,000 hectares allocated for sowing, Turkmenistan’s farmers were assigned the goal of harvesting 1.4 million tons of wheat, including 400,000 tons in Ahal province, 345,000 in Mary, 310,000 in Lebap, 265,000 in Dashoguz, and 80,000 in Balkan. The wheat harvest began on June 4 in Ahal, Lebap, and Mary provinces, and on June 11 in Balkan and Dashoguz provinces.
