The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting on the digital system

On June 30, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting on the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and velayat hakims, where issues related to the country's agricultural sector and the work carried out in the regions were discussed.

The hakims of the velayats reported on the progress of the current seasonal agricultural campaigns.

The hakims reported on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities planned for opening in the regions this year within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028 and the National Rural Program.

After hearing the reports, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to ensure the harvest of the remaining wheat crop in the fields without losses and to the last grain and to carry out agricultural activities at the proper level in the cotton fields, giving specific instructions to the hakims.

The head of state also instructed the hyakims to monitor the high-quality and timely construction of facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the country.

As reported, work is underway to care for rice fields in the Dashoguz and Lebap velayats, and sugar beet sowing continues in the Mary velayat.

Addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state emphasized the importance of taking the necessary measures for the proper completion of the grain harvesting campaign, as well as high-quality care of the cotton crop, laying the foundation for the next year's wheat harvest, ordering that the work carried out in this direction be kept under strict control.
