On May 29, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital system, during which a number of issues related to state affairs were reviewed.

The first to speak was the Chairwoman of the Mejlis, D. Gulmanova, who reported on the ongoing legislative activities.

As was reported, based on the country’s socio-economic development programs and generally accepted norms of international law, working groups are currently preparing draft laws related to the improvement of civil legal relations and the electoral system, the protection of human rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests, scientific intellectual property, virtual assets, and customs matters.
