Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to take part in the First Summit in the “Central Asia–Italy” format.
The foreign policy of the Homeland, based on the principles of peace, good neighborliness, and equality—and founded by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Hero-Arkadag—is being successfully implemented in the present era under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. One of the key areas of this strategy is the pursuit of multi-vector cooperation with interested countries around the world. A clear example of this is Turkmenistan’s participation in the current high-level “Central Asia–Italy” meeting.
Today, Turkmen–Italian political and diplomatic relations continue to develop steadily on both a bilateral basis and within multilateral formats—primarily through the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and other international structures.
