On September 18, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated participants of the country's Investment Forum, held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on the eve of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence.
"Organized in the year of the glorious celebration of the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of sovereign Turkmenistan, the Investment Forum is of paramount importance for enhancing the country's industrial potential, attracting investment aimed at diversifying the economy, creating new production facilities for goods in high demand on global markets, and implementing priority programs to expand the capacity of existing enterprises.
I firmly believe that this event in Avaza will contribute to the further industrialization and socioeconomic development of the regions in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the introduction of modern technologies in industry, the active promotion of the concept of a digital economy, and the attraction of investment," the head of state noted.
"Ensuring the country's sustainable socioeconomic development is linked to economic diversification, the efficient use of the country's abundant natural and raw material resources, the growth of private sector production in various fields, and increased investment in innovative industries and modern industrial and manufacturing projects.
The systematic holding of relevant events at home and abroad during the International Year of Peace and Trust, with the aim of enhancing mutually beneficial relations between our independent, permanently neutral state and various countries and international organizations, including international financial and economic institutions, will provide a powerful impetus to increasing the country's investment potential," the president emphasized.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the exhibition participants and guests good health, family well-being, and great success in their work.
