On September 16, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated participants of the opening ceremony of the new modern village "Bagtly Zamana" in the Govshut gengeshlik of the Kaakhka etrap in the Ahal velayat.
"Today, on the eve of the glorious 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality and Independence Day, we are witnessing a series of ceremonial openings of new buildings and facilities in various corners of our beautiful homeland. In a short period of time, a tremendous amount of work has been accomplished towards the socioeconomic development of the Ahal velayat.
Built in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state, the 400 residential buildings, a 640-seat secondary school, a 320-seat kindergarten, a shopping center, and the gengeshlik's administrative building, equipped with modern equipment, are exemplary for hundreds of villages and towns in the present and near future of the prosperous Turkmen state. The village "Bagtly Zamana" will be inscribed in golden letters in the gengeshlik's new history and will contribute to the improvement of the socio-cultural level and well-being of rural residents. It is especially noteworthy that the village was built by Turkmen builders, who are making a significant contribution to the successful implementation of large-scale transformation programs," the head of state emphasized.
"Work within the framework of the new version of the 'National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Improving the Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Towns, Etrap Cities, and Etrap Centers through 2028' is crucial in strengthening social security and further improving the living conditions of our population. In the future, as we implement the national strategy to improve the quality of life, we will continue to rapidly build luxury residential buildings and social and cultural facilities.
Protecting the interests of our people and their well-being are among the key vectors of Turkmenistan's state policy. The large-scale transformations that have unfolded in the country in this new historical era are aimed precisely at these goals. Creating all the conditions for comfortable living, recreation, and productive leisure in every community will remain a key priority of state policy," the President noted.
The head of state wished his compatriots good health, a prosperous and happy life, and success in their work.
