On November 3, President Serdar Berdimuhamedow congratulated participants of the International Exhibition and Conference “Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan,” held in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza.”
“The international exhibition and conference, organized on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality, are of great importance for demonstrating the industrial potential of our homeland, implementing priority programs for the development of the national economy through diversification of the construction and industrial sectors, and expanding and creating new capacities for existing production of goods in high demand on global markets. Therefore, I am firmly convinced that this important event held in Avaza will contribute to the industrialization and socio-economic development of the regions, the introduction of modern technologies in the sector, and the active implementation of the digital economy concept in the era of the Renaissance of a new epoch of a powerful state,” the president noted.
“Turkmenistan is a nation of builders, a powerful state. Construction projects carried out in all regions of our homeland clearly demonstrate to the world that our independent country is strong and developing in all directions. Currently, modern residential complexes meeting advanced contemporary standards are being built across the country. New model cities, towns, and modern villages have emerged, embodying in their architecture the creative spirit of our era. Educational and sports facilities, residential buildings, parks, luxury hotels, sports and medical centers, sanatoriums, high-speed highways, large industrial and production complexes, as well as other buildings and structures, have been constructed. The impressive scale of construction serves as a vivid example of care for the people and the successful implementation of the principle of the Hero Arkadag: ‘The State is for the People!’
It is especially worth noting that the history of the beautiful city—the heart of our homeland—is marked by great achievements and successes. In the new era, the white-marble city of Ashgabat, the capital of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, has been transformed before our eyes into one of the most beautiful and well-organized cities in the world. We attach special importance to the implementation of the large-scale urban development program and to creating a unique appearance for the country’s capital, rightfully called the Pearl of Asia.
Our homeland develops day by day and, over the years of independence, has become a vast construction site. In particular, the rapid construction of the city of Arkadag, which has no analog in the region, serves as a vivid example of the great achievements of independent Turkmenistan,” emphasized Serdar Berdimuhamedow.
The head of state wished participants of the exhibition and conference good health, long life, family well-being, a peaceful and happy life, and great success in their work for the further economic prosperity of the country.
