On September 6, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, where the results of the work of the military and law enforcement agencies for January-August of this year were considered. The agenda also included issues of ensuring security and peace in the country, strengthening the material and technical base of the security forces, and further improving their activities.
The Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense Begench Gundogdyev reported on the work done in the subordinate structures over eight months, practical steps taken to strengthen the country's defense capability, and increase the professionalism of the officer corps of the Armed Forces. A report was also made on the preparations for the ceremonial military parade in honor of the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland.
Then, Prosecutor General Begmurat Mukhamedov reported on the results of inspections for proper implementation of regulatory legal acts, as well as the active use of digital technologies and advanced methods in the work of structural divisions.
Minister of Internal Affairs Mukhammed Khydyrov reported on the events that started in the capital and velayats in early September as part of the month of "Road Safety - Peace of Our Life".
Chairman of the State Customs Service Maksat Khudaykulyev reported on the practical steps taken to properly monitor the order of movement of goods across the customs border. A separate topic of the report was the results of the work carried out within the framework of the implementation of the Department's Development Program.
Addressing the members of the State Security Council, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country emphasized the need for proper preparation for the celebration of the 34th anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. In this context, Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense Begench Gundogdyev was instructed to ensure a high level of holding the ceremonial military parade.
