On June 5, a telephone conversation took place between the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.
Having exchanged warm greetings, the heads of the neighboring states expressed congratulations to each other and the fraternal peoples of both countries on the holy Eid al-Adha, as well as wishes for the acceptance of sadaqah and prayers performed on the bright holidays by the Almighty.
As noted, the relations between the two peoples, united by a common history and culture, go back several millennia.
The interlocutors emphasized that trade, economic and cultural ties between Turkmenistan and Iran are consistently developing.
Continuing on the topic, the heads of the two states confirmed their readiness to continue working to strengthen the ties of friendship and brotherhood, expand mutually beneficial partnership between Turkmenistan and Iran.
