Prospects for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed during the meeting of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Chairman of the CLAAS Joint Stock Company (FRG), Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude for the time spent, the guest congratulated the Hero-Arkadaga on the upcoming holiday – the 33rd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence, addressing best wishes to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and all Turkmen people. As Ms. Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser noted, CLAAS is proud of its long-term partnership with our country and is always interested in building up established productive business ties.

Welcoming the guest and thanking her for congratulations and kind words, Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that her current visit would be an important step in strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as give a new impetus to the activities of the CLAAS company in the Turkmen market.

Today, our countries cooperate fruitfully in almost all areas, including in the political, diplomatic, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian fields, said the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty.

In this regard, the effective nature of the partnership between Turkmenistan and the Eastern Committee of the German Economy in establishing bilateral business contacts was noted. At the same time, the intention was confirmed to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation, including in the investment sphere.

It was emphasized that a number of leading German companies have been successfully operating in our country for many years, among which CLAAS is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery.

At the end of the meeting, having exchanged mutual good wishes, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the head of the CLAAS company, Chairman of the Eastern Committee of the German Economy Katrina Klaas-Mulheuser expressed confidence that the traditional bilateral cooperation will continue to develop successfully on the principles of mutual benefit and long-term.
