On 24 November, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Balkan velayat to review the preparations for the International Conference “The Role of Women in Modern Society: Developing International Cooperation for Sustainable Development”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality, which will be held in December in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

Hero Arkadag familiarized himself with the equipment and facilities of the building where the conference will be held. It was emphasized that ensuring that the conditions created here meet modern requirements and international standards is very important for conducting the planned international events at a high level.

The large exhibition organized in connection with the event should reflect facts confirming the active participation of women in all spheres of life in our society. The exhibition is intended to demonstrate all the evidence of the state's care to ensure that women and girls in our country enjoy the benefits of honest labor and the continuous improvement of their social status, Hero Arkadag noted.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people stressed the importance of holding the upcoming historically significant international events at a high organizational level. This will contribute to enhancing the authority of Turkmenistan, which is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its neutral status, on the world political stage. Hero Arkadag noted that for this purpose, it is necessary to prepare separate programs for all planned events, as well as develop an implementation plan for each of them in accordance with current requirements, emphasizing the need for coordinated work among the relevant structures.
